Indoorgo positioning works in the following way - a set of algorithms combine data from multiple sensors to calculate position on the floor plan, based on the entry point.
Data collected by the users is stored in a central location and subsequently used to improve positioning of Indoorgo app users.
Accuracy of up to 3m achieved for the first visitor, gradually improving to <1m.

Indoorgo research partner, Kinematics and Computational Geometry laboratory (K&CG) was founded in 2008 by Dr. Boaz Ben-Moshe and Dr. Nir Shvalb, it is a multidisciplinary lab which covers a wide range research topics including Computational Geometry, Robotics, GIS algorithms, Facility Location, Geometric Data Compression, Wireless Communication, Simulation and modeling, Geometric Sensing, Navigation and Positioning Algorithms and Motion Planning.
